We had a nice quite day at home on this last day of 2011!!!
What a great year it has been.
We are so lucky that Ella found us. She truly is one amazing little girl. She is her own little person who likes to do things "all by myselp!" and she likes to make sure you know that she will be with you "in dus a ninute!" The latest is that she sometimes needs "to dink aboutit" and "git bac u.... again....in dus a ninute!"
David caught a little bit of our performer this evening during bath time.
Either she is channeling her inner Peking Opera Singer or perhaps she will be a Bollywood actress someday!
Happy New Year!!!!
Wishing you a happy, love filled, peaceful, and joyous 2012!

We are Deanna, David, and Ella....3 Peas in a Pod of our family garden! We are a family formed through the selfless and courageous act of one birth family. We welcome you to love, learn, and grow with us.

Merry Christmas!!!
Merry Christmas!!!!
Ella was very much into Christmas this year. She made lists (a hoop (hula hoop) and a flashlight), requests (Strawberry Shortcake), and talked non-stop about what "Ho Ho" would bring her (movie).
We never actually got a visit in with "Ho, Ho" this year. We did a lot of waving from afar and did a lot of talking about him, but this year although she was excited, she was a little leary of the jolly looking character...so much so that it took David and I 45 minutes on Christmas Eve night to make sure she knew that we would make sure that Santa did not come in her bedroom to watch her sleep ("I not want Ho Ho to come in my ruum and see me sweep.")
Christmas Day morning 2011 (Oh, and she let us sleep until 7:15a.m.!)
