Dentist Visit

Ella had a dentist appointment to take care of a cavity (yikes!) on one tooth and a spot (not a cavity) on a different tooth.

Ella had visited the dentist before and there was always anxiety and fear on her part (come on we all have it). Well, we found a WONDERFUL pediatric dentist and now...no more tears...well that could be from the "happy medicine" Ella gets before she goes.

Her she is in her "happy/dizzy/fun" place while in the waitng area.

She did a wonderful job and at several points in the procedures...she actually fell asleep!!!

Magic Kingdom Day

We were finally able to enjoy a day at The Magic Kingdom on Monday (the day after the marathon). What a day it was.

Honestly, Disney World is such a Magical place. It was just perfect. We arrived at 10:00a.m. and stayed until 8:00p.m.! Ella was such a trooper. We did find a quiet spot and just relaxed for about a half hour and then she did really crash around 4:00p.m. for a power nap, but other than that she was all about The Magic Kindgom.

I think it took until a whole day of being immeresed in the Magic for her to get the idea of where we were at and what this place was all about.

There is so much more to share like her first Dumbo Ride, the fact that she went on an Up and Down Merry-Go-Round horse, we took her to the Tiki Room, she finally saw "Gooty" (Goofy), Tinkerbell threw her a kiss in the Electrical Light Parade, the list could go on and on.

She loved all of the rides. She always wanted to go higher or faster so hopefully, she will turn into loving all of those wild and crazy rides that her Mommy loves.

Now, we do have that all important photo with Cinderella. You know the one that you get taken as soon as you enter the Palace. Well, we are going to have to scan that one and let you all see for yourself. It is too, too funny. If Ella could have crawled inside of David's shirt she would have done so.

We had such a lovely time after the marathon last Sunday. I keep thinking..."this time last week/end we were doing this." Sigh....it is going to be a long few years until we can get back there.

It truly is a Magical, Magical Place!

Disney World!!!

I ran my first marathon at Disney World on Sunday, January 8th, 2012!!!!

What an amazing experience!!!

Here is a photo of me with my own little ChEARleader!!!

We went to Epcot Sunday evening after the race and walked hobbled (hee, hee) around.

Ella really seemed to get into the whole Disney idea after a few days. She "lobed" the Pwincesses and Mickey Mouse (he look so big Momma!).

We have been having so much fun on this holiday break. We have been able to have two playdates with Mya (and her little sister Macy).

Making Cookies!!!

Ella and I are still on our holiday break from school, so we thought today would be a great day to make some cookies!

Of course we couldn't wait till "Nite, Nite" time for our first cookie....but....so far we have only each had one and they are just delish!!!! (Hopefully, we can save a few for when Daddy gets home from work!)

Happy New Year!!!!

We had a nice quite day at home on this last day of 2011!!!

What a great year it has been.

We are so lucky that Ella found us. She truly is one amazing little girl. She is her own little person who likes to do things "all by myselp!" and she likes to make sure you know that she will be with you "in dus a ninute!" The latest is that she sometimes needs "to dink aboutit" and "git bac u.... again....in dus a ninute!"

David caught a little bit of our performer this evening during bath time.

Either she is channeling her inner Peking Opera Singer or perhaps she will be a Bollywood actress someday!
